This is an ambitious interdisciplinary project, in its early stages of development with the ultimate goal to develop a specialised space arbitration centre in Durham. The University has gained much momentum in the space industry with its incoming space centre, led by Dr James Osborn, and this project complements its drive.
Through IAS funding, the aim of this project is to expand the current network, and to bring together and connect relevant people.
A high-profile space disputes panel event will be organised in Durham Law School with invitations to stakeholders in the industry such as DLA Piper Aerospace counsels, who are representing Space X and other space companies, and members of the European Space Agency.
